REST * * REST
I just to make a short blog today and talk
about rest. It is so very important to take time
to rest. Some people can rest on only 5 hours a day.
I had no problem. Then some people need rest for a
full 8 hours and then theirs the people who cant function
without having 10 or mores of rest. For those people I
seriously think they need some vitamins.
What I am saying rest is very important. It helps
us relieve tension, helps our bodies heal, helps
us think clearer and work better. Heck even in Japan
a nap is required in the work place and so is exercise,
but that is another subject.
Have you ever thought that the weight of the world
is actually on our shoulders? It is called gravity. It
presses down on us. It causes strain on our bodies ,
muscles and bones. If it were not so important our
bodies would never want it.
Ever know those people that can take a power nap? How can they
go to sleep so fast? My power nap would have to be at least 4 hours. LOL kudos for those who can do a power nap.
Take the time to rest, too each person, that rest for your body is important, no matter how short or long it is. It is what your body needs, so take care of It and, listen to it and feel revived when you do rest.
The Lord thinks rest is so very important, that he put it in the Bible.
Matthew 11: 28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you REST,. Take
my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you
will find REST for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light
Genesis 2: 2-3
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing: so on the seventh
day he RESTED from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it
holy, because on it he RESTED from all the work of creating that he had done.
