Did I just say read? Reading is so fundamental.
I know that sounds so like a school curriculum
advice from a teacher or something right?
But we got taught this is our homes, in
school and in our jobs. Learning is a part
of life.
Knowledge puts us in an advantage to serve and
to help others. If we are not learning than
we are making and creating our own demise. A
death of knowledge is no good at all.
Your home should be full of books. Not only
for ourselves but for our children, grandchildren
and great grand kids if we are so blessed
to have them.
Remember how awesome it was to learn that
the simple letter "A" was to match with an object
so simple as an Apple? This type of excitement
should still be the same, even now.
I know some of us have gotten away from to act of reading a whole book,
but you can still read short articles, like in the newspaper, magazines and even on
a bottle of medicine.
Ever read the stories in the Cracker Barrel Restaurant. Mind you they are short. But
quite interesting. Most people I can say can read short stories. So share and read
one together and then add a different ending, just because.
You should have an array
of different books on your
shelf.
Informative and uplifting.
I love Joyce Meyer.
Educational books to help your
own life. Books for all aspects
of your life or maybe to help
someone else.
Adventure, writing, languages law, enjoyment and soul fulfilling the possibilities
are endless. Having a mind
full of knowledge is more
sexy than any physical feature
I think. Like Jeff Goldblum,
grrr well that's my take on that anyway.
Of course you might be the person who likes creepy & scary. Any
book that intrigues your interest will always be much better than the
movie by far. So get those books out climb into a comfy position
and read away. Your brain is like a sponge, let it all soak in and
like will again be full of bubbles.
Proverbs 20:15 Gold there is and rubies in abundance
but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.
Till the morrow. Be blessed
